Student Clubs

Social, cooperative, student-led learning is part of every day at The Children’s School, and our extracurricular clubs are no different. Each trimester, our middle level students have the opportunity to join a club or propose a new one. While each club has a faculty advisor, students decide what clubs they will have, and they design and lead the activities for them. We strive to open opportunities for club leadership and participation to all of our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. From playing games together to taking collective action on civic and political issues, our students learn to negotiate decisions, ask questions, solve problems, and respect diverse points of view.
